Jerome Lejeune all around the U.S. in 2016 :

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the death of Dr Lejeune, filmmaker F. Lespes produced a beautiful professionnal documentary called : "To the least ot these, my brothers and sisters". He conducted interviews in both U.S. and France with those who knew Jerome Lejeune or have been affected by him in some way.

This fabulous documentary explores the Dr Lejeune'discovery of the Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) and show how the Servant od God sacrificed honor and prestige to hold fast to what he knew to be true.

For months, this beautiful documentary has been travelling all around the U.S.thanks to the president of the Jerome Lejeune foundation US, Mark Bradford.

Archidiocesan of Miami, Hialeah Gardens,

Dr. Jerome Lejeune: a pro-life saint-in-waiting ?

The legacy of Dr. Jérôme Lejeune, whose cause for canonization opened in 2007, provided the theme for the second annual luncheon to benefit the work of the North Dade Pregnancy Help Center. The center is part of five archdiocesan respect life facilities where women can obtain free pregnancy tests and find both spiritual and material support for keeping their unborn children.

The more than 300 guests who attended the luncheon, held at the end of September in Hialeah Gardens, heard from Dr. Mark Basik and Ombretta Salvucci. Both discussed Lejeune’s cause for canonization, referring to the doctor and geneticist -who was born in 1926- as a saint for modern times. Lejeune is “one of the great researchers and Christians of the 20th century,” said Basik.
